Books are very
important to us, as we will absorb a lot of knowledge. Remembering the plot and
understanding the book are the necessary part for every one of us. The only way
to remember and understand well is to read well.
First, we need to see the title of
the book. Most titles of books bring us the general information of the book;
such as the crucible, it is a tool or a box melting metals and to get gold, and
we all know it is impossible. The same to a society, it means people tried to
make a better society but always impossible. This book must talk about a story
of a group of people strive to make a good society but finally failed. Second,
we need to see the introduction, but we don’t need to watch carefully, but just
get some basic information. Then, we started to read the book. Basically, you
have to have the ability to understand or read. What we usually do is to
annotate because it will help you reread and know the story better. We circle
the word we don’t know, mark the favorite lines and the questions, and
summarize each page. We keep doing that when we read the book, and of course,
we need to reread and the annotations can help us read faster and more
accurate.

I also agree with that " The only way to remember and understand well is to read well." You have very organize process and explain in detail. It is a very good writing.

ReplyDeleteI love her details, it has legible logical and the specific steps, but I think she can add more for the first paragraph. To explain more why reading is important, it'd better add some examples for first paragraph.
ReplyDeleteShe has given some good examples and it just explains everything that we need to know about reading. I think it is very well written..
